'Tis the season for the magical holiday tradition beloved by all that returned to the Kravis Center stage with Ballet Palm Beach. Featuring music by Tchaikovsky, The Nutcracker tells the story of Marie who, when given an enchanted nutcracker doll as a Christmas gift, has no idea of the adventure that awaits her! Toy soldier battles, giant mice, and a blustery snowstorm led by a majestic Snow Queen delighted families of all ages to a magical night of memories. Bravo to all for the record-breaking audiences at their spectacular December 3-4, 2022 performances.

Ballet Palm Beach gifted over 500 tickets to community groups to enjoy its performances of ''The Nutcracker''. The tickets were given to organizations that provide services to "underserved families" including Place of Hope, Center for Family Services, Habitat for Humanity and YMCA of the Palm Beaches. Community Partners, Friends of Foster Children of West Palm Beach, the Lord's Place and Dazzle Dance of Wellington were also recipients.
“Everything we do is tied to a component to give back,” said Colleen Smith, founding artistic and executive director at Ballet Palm Beach. “And 'The Nutcracker' performance is no exception.”
Since 2001, the company's press release proudly states ''giving back has been part of the nonprofit’s work with the community to ensure that underserved children and adults alike can benefit from the performances and programing."
