Taste of Little Italy celebrates 13 years of family, tradition, food, music & memories 🇮🇹


Embark on a cultural journey at the 13th Annual Taste of Little Italy presented by Galbani at Tradition in Port St. Lucie. The three-day family Italian street festival March 6th-8th will have national entertainment, authentic food, festival rides and games, free wine and cooking demonstrations and lots more. FREE admission and parking.

Jerry Somma owner of Via Productions, Inc. announces that the festival will be moving to March as The Taste of Little Italy celebrates thirteen years at Tradition on March 6-8, 2020.

This year, the “Taste” will be offering free admission at its expanded location. “As we look into the future of this festival, we remember why it all started with the intention that this festival would be a place for families to create memories as multiple generations share their culture and tradition at the festival together, and I am proud to announce we will be offering free admission for the three-day festival” says Jerry Somma.

Tradition is the place for the entire family to come eat, enjoy music, have fun on the rides and create new memories to last a lifetime. This three-day street festival will be filled with authentic Italian food, cooking and wine demonstrations, carnival games, festival rides, bocce, and the nonstop performances on the stage featuring entertainers who represent the Italian heritage and culture. While strolling the winding paths of the Taste’s ‘old-world’ Italian-street festival, shop arts, specialty and food vendors eager to meet and share conversation. Enjoy perusing goods amid the aromas, sights and sounds of Italy.

🇮🇹 Entertainment

Recently announced is the incredible entertainment coming to this treasure coast festival. The Taste of Little Italy presented by Galbani welcomes national artists and local Italian American performers. The public is invited to bring lawn chairs and picnic blankets to watch the talented entertainers throughout the weekend. Kicking-off the festival on Friday, March 6th at 6:30pm is finalist from America’s Got Talent, crooner Austin Giorgio followed by headliner at 8pm Michael Amante “The People’s Tenor” who will perform opera classics Italian Bel Canto and Broadway. Saturday, March 7th will feature Maria DeCrescenzo from KC at 6pm and the Sunshine Band, then headliner and Taste favorite, Sal “The Voice” Valentinetti, at 8pm. Sal won over Heidi Klum and hundreds of thousands across the country from America’s Got Talent. He has brought Italian classics to the forefront of America and to a new generation by performing songs from Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darin, and Frankie Valli, Dean Martin and many more. On Sunday, March 8th returns crooner, Austin Giorgio at 5pm followed by the headliner and Taste favorite, “The Voice of Romance” performer Franco Corso, at 6pm with his smooth vocals will take you on a musical journey through Italy performing ballads from Andrea Bocelli and many more.

🇮🇹 Food and Wine Seminars

Each year national and local chef’s come out to Tradition and instruct the public on how to cook a specialty dish. In the La Cucina Galbani Cooking Stage free cooking demonstrations are offered. Join us as world renowned wine connoisseur Anthony Acampa as he takes you on a journey with your palate at the free wine seminars featuring Bella Bellina, Farmers of Wine, and Luna di Luna. Free wine demonstrations and free cooking demonstrations will be held throughout the weekend.

🇮🇹 Aperol Spritz Piazza and more!

The new Aperol Spritz Piazza is the place to enjoy a Spritz Veneziano, a refreshing sparkling cocktail, Aperol Spritz, Italy’s #1 drink or try a Frangelico or Campari. Then, sit and relax while taking in the sounds of the entertainers and aroma of the food. Port St. Lucie will be filled with food booths and vendors cooking up grandma’s favorites from traditional dishes of pasta, pizza, and sausage and peppers to the authentic food of Italy with shrimp scampi, pinwheels, seafood pescatore, calamari, antipasto platters, arancini’s, raviolis, and more. Then, don’t miss all the Italian dessert with homemade zeppola’s, sfogliatella, cannoli’s and cookies.

Little Smiles is the official charity of the Tradition Taste of Little Italy. On Sunday, March 8th the Galbani Celebrity Cheese Building for Charity contest featuring local celebrities will be at 4pm. Little Smiles will have a booth on site raising awareness with kid’s activities as well as accepting donations. This is a volunteer driven, non-profit 501(c) 3 children’s charity. Their mission is to help heal hearts and create little smiles by providing gifts and fun activities to children impacted by serious illness, homelessness or tragedy. With the guidance of local professionals such as doctors, nurses, child life specialists and social workers, we strive to help kids escape their unfortunate circumstances, even if only for a short period of time.
