Rosemary Square unveils Wishing Tree in revitalized downtown West Palm Beach

'Tis the season to be jolly as Rosemary Square relaunches in downtown West Palm Beach. Part of the holiday kickoff festivities included the unveiling of the 32 foot tall banyan Wishing Tree, designed by Symmetry Labs. It is located near the Harriet Himmel Theater and next to another new public art installation, "Water Pavilion West Palm", an interactive water display that opens next weekend. Designed by Danish artist Jeppe Hein, the piece features jets of water that form interlocking circles shooting up into the sky and forming “rooms.”

Rosemary Square is a revamp of the original CityPlace by Related. Visitors will enjoy redesigned streetscapes, new retailers and restaurants on the way including True Food Kitchen and Pura Vida, both set to open next year.

Mark your calendar for several weeks of holiday events, including the venue’s trademark nightly “snowfall,” which takes place at 6 and 7 p.m. Monday-Wednesday and 6, 7 and 8 p.m. Thursday-Sunday through Dec. 31.
