WHAT IS GIVING TUESDAY?
It's like Cyber Monday for charities, local non-profits and organizations. According to Giving Tuesday it is a global day and philanthropic phenomenon fueled by the power of social media and collaboration to encourage charitable giving in time, talents, treasures and service.
Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving (in the U.S.) and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season of giving, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving.
🎁 Show an act of kindness. The world needs it.
